Post Secondary Institutions (PSI) BC Athlete Assistance Program
The Post Secondary Institution (PSI) component of the BC AAP provides financial support to partially offset training, competition and education costs for identified British Columbia high performance student athletes striving to achieve championship performances while representing their Post Secondary Institution, province and country in athletic competition.
The objectives of the PSI component of the BC AAP are to:
- support student athletes as they strive to achieve athletic and academic excellence;
- recruit and retain British Columbia student athletes in British Columbia; and
- contribute to improved performances of identified British Columbia student athletes at Intercollegiate Regional and National Championships
Post Secondary Institutions that are either a member of the BC Colleges Athletic Association or Canadian Interuniversity Sport are eligible to receive BC AAP. Only eligible sports within these qualifying PSIs that have met specific criteria will receive BC AAP funding (list provided in the BC AAP PSI Guidelines, Policies and Procedures document). Contact your PSI Athletic Director for more information.
